Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to plan, manage, and streamline day-to-day operational activities supporting the development of our high-resolution Earth Observation payloads. This role focuses on coordinating cross-functional workflows, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely execution of operational tasks across engineering, procurement, and program teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational processes within hardware development environments, with the ability to manage schedules, monitor task dependencies, and maintain accurate documentation. They will work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure alignment, mitigate risks, and support the efficient delivery of mission-critical milestones while maintaining high standards of organization, communication, and execution.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers — manage follow-ups and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, office errands, and miscellaneous operational needs
- Assist with logistics, and basic inventory tracking as required.
- Maintain records of vendor communications, agreements, and operational activities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Liaise with facilities teams and project teams across Bangalore offices.
- Track interdependencies between tasks, identify bottlenecks, and proactively follow up to ensure timely closure of action items.
- Act as a central point of contact for operational updates, ensuring clear and consistent communication across teams.
- Be available for ad hoc ground-level tasks that keep the organisation running.
Qualifications and Skills
- Any graduates [BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in organizing events, getting things done on the ground.
Must have
- Experience managing or assisting with tech fests, college events, or corporate events is a strong plus
- Fresh graduates with ~1 year of relevant experience (including internships or college-level event work) are welcome to apply
- Well-organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable with fieldwork, errands, and hands-on coordination tasks
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal in Kannada and English is a must. Proficiency in Kannada is essential — you will interact regularly with local vendors, facilities staff, and building coordinators in Bangalore
- Familiarity with Bangalore geography and the local vendor ecosystem is an advantage
Good to have
- Prior experience as an office coordinator, admin executive, or Tech fest/event management in colleges.
- Existing relationships with vendors in Bangalore or anywhere in India.
- Comfortable using basic office tools (MS office, Google Workspace)
