The Problem We are Solving!

The Earth Observation (EO) industry has relied on a “supply-first” model, where earth observation satellite assets are built with broad applications in mind. This creates a lag in data commercialisation in the NewSpace growth which is increasingly moving towards sector specific applications.

Additionally, Government and defense contracts dominate asset and data allocation, leading to limited bandwidth for commercial clients.

KaleidEO addresses these challenges by using demand-driven approach, both for Government and private players, by building vertical specific hardware configurations to close the performance gap and meet market needs.

Why are we different?

KaleidEO differentiates as an upstream hardware company which is driven by downstream, sectoral demands. What this means is, unlike traditional supply-driven approaches, KaleidEO focuses on demand-driven vertical integration, providing tailored innovation across hardware, data infrastructure and insights generation based on last mile demands.

We do this through an innovative EO Infrastructure-as-a-Service (EO-IaaS) model, where KaleidEO designs payloads, builds and delivers data and insights infrastructure, while managing manufacturing, mission operations and downlinking through strategic ecosystem partnerships.

The model helps optimise capital expenditure and promotes high data reutilisation across the EO value chain. We’re also building a platform to standardize satellite data integration, enabling seamless analytics and offering Advanced Readiness Data (ARD) as a core product to meet the growing demand for EO solutions.

Established as a subsidiary of SatSure, focused on upstream markets, with a goal of creating a full-stack earth observation company from India.

September 2023

KaleidEO becomes the First Indian Company to Achieve Edge Computing in Space.

April 2024

KaleidEO becomes the first private company from India to design and perform successful aerial tests of its high resolution, optical, multispectral payload.

June 2024

KaleidEO wins the 'Earth Observation and Geospatial Excellence’ award' at the ISpA Space Industry Awards 2024.
