We're hiring a Mission Design Intern to optimize existing frameworks and develop innovative methodologies, enhancing satellite mission performance, coverage, and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Driving mission design based on the inputs from the satellite/payload teams and requirements from the end user.
- Developing methodologies and algorithms for optimization of the existing frameworks of the mission design and CONOPS - planning and scheduling.
- Exploring and identifying optimization techniques and algorithms that can be utilized in improving the efficiency of the existing frameworks.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including reports, presentations, and technical documents.
- Effectively managing codeworks through proper version control using GIT.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering or any related fields..
- Good programming skills and working experience with Python, C/C++
- Good knowledge of Numerical Optimization techniques, and the operations research domain.
- Understanding of satellite subsystems and interdependencies.
Preferred Qualification and Skills
- Good to have practical experience in applying optimization algorithms in task scheduling problems.
- Good understanding of Orbital Mechanics and Space Mission Design
- Good understanding and knowledge of RL / DL techniques
- Familiarity with optimization packages like CPLEX, Gurobi, etc.
- Familiarity with software and tools like STK, GMAT, or similar
